“We are excited about the release of the new VO5 series of LC VCO. The Company is actively sampling these custom performance products to the industry leaders in avionics, space and defense based up on their request. The Company has already received purchase orders for a custom LC VCO from one of the leading system manufacturers in the avionics markets and is successfully delivering production orders to them.” said Michael Sonnenreich, Chairman of the Board.

“Wi2Wi continues to focus extensively on developing new products based upon client demand and assures a full line of products in each category we produce. The new VO5 series of LC VCO can be customized based upon the unique performance requirements of our clients and can be integrated into their end systems without any extra R&D spending. We congratulate Barry Arneson, Vice President of Engineering and his R&D team for customizing a LC VCO that exceeds the specific performance requirements from one of our key customers and allows the Company successfully fulfil the new production orders.” said Zachariah Mathews, President and CEO of Wi2Wi.

Specifics on the new product series:

The VO5 series of oscillators is an Inductance-Capacitance Voltage-Controlled Oscillator family (LC VCO) designed for applications that require precision voltage variable frequency tuning of the center frequency. VO5 series provides industry’s best performance in phase noise, harmonics and linearity which makes the series an excellent choice for numerous low noise PLL applications. VO5 family is customizable based on each customer’s unique requirements. The VO5 series are available in various supply voltages from 3.0 volts up to 15.0 volts and frequencies ranging from 50MHz to 1.5GHz. VO5 series is fabricated in industry standard 0.50" x 0.50" and is form, fit and function replacement for all existing sockets.

About IoT and M2M

Essentially, IoT and M2M describethe network of physical objects or "things" embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and exchange data. Driven by several factors including the growth in the availability of Broadband Internet, which reduces the cost of connecting, and the related increase in Wi-Fi capabilities as well as sensors built into myriad technologies, this has been described as the “perfect storm” for the IoT. Almost any device with an on and off switch that can be connected to the Internet (and/or to each other) – anything from cell phones, coffee makers, washing machines, headphones, lamps, wearable devices, cars, as well as machine components in the engine of a jet airplane or the drill of an oil rig. According to analyst firm Gartner, by 2020 there will be over 26 billion connected devices. Others think this figure could be too conservative by a factor of four.
